Service Dogs in the Community: A Public Education Series on Building Inclusive Spaces

Every day, people with disabilities navigate countless barriers; getting essential services, accessing public spaces, and simply moving through the world. When someone relies on a service dog, those barriers shouldn’t multiply. They shouldn’t have to fight for the support they need just to participate fully in their community.

That’s why we’re hosting Service Dogs in the Community, a free public education series dedicated to building truly inclusive spaces. Join us as we explore what disability inclusion really looks like, how service dogs are trained, the laws that protect them, and the simple steps organizations can take to make their environments safe, respectful, and accessible for everyone.

If you’re a business owner, community organization, frontline or public-sector worker, or someone who regularly interacts with the public, these sessions are especially valuable. You play a key role in ensuring service dog teams can access your space safely and without barriers. You’ll also have the chance to meet a service dog in training!

Please note that all sessions will cover the same material, you’re welcome to attend the date and time that works best for you!
